Friends of Sandy Lane Park achieves ‘Outstanding’ in North West in Bloom

Friends of Sandy Lane Park has achieved Level 5 Outstanding, the highest possible level in the RHS ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ category as part of the North West in Bloom awards.

The ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ scheme recognises community groups making a positive difference to their local environment through gardening and horticulture, environmental responsibility and community involvement.

Achieving Level 5 is fantastic recognition of the hard work put in by our volunteers throughout the year to make Sandy Lane Park a cleaner, greener and more welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to everyone who gives their time to look after and improve the park, whether that’s planting, litter picking, maintaining areas of the park or supporting our activities and events.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to continuing to care for and improve Sandy Lane Park for our community.
